Aloha Friday

Great idea from : Island Life

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

And here is my question for the day... What is your favorite spot on the Big Island?

  2. I'll have to say the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel because we spent a lot of time there on our vacation a few months ago. :-)

  8. Night Owl Mama, come on down!

Mighty M, That is a beautiful beach and a lovely hotel! Those west coast beaches on the BI are jewels.

Damon, that was a great post!

Erica, you really should come for a visit.

Everyday woman, I would say that because the big island is so big, you should spend some time on both sides for your first trip. On the East Coast, rent a vacation rental and spend some time exploring waterfalls, museums, snorkel spots and the volcano. Then head up to Wiamea take a tour of Waipio Valley (it is the only way to see it). Stay in one of the beautiful Kohala resorts for a few days, making day trips to Kona, Parker Ranch and maybe even try the zip line up in Hawi.
